Sidra Naseem is an associate at Wood Gold LLP and practices Family Law.
Sidra obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law in 2016 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017. Prior to attending Law School, Sidra completed her Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from York University, with a Major in Psychology and Minor in Political Science.
While completing her law degree, Sidra completed several internships in Ottawa, Toronto, as well as internationally. She has completed a Public Interest Fellowship at the Integrated Domestic Violence Court (IDVC) in Toronto, where she had the opportunity to assess the overlap of domestic violence in family law cases. She eventually completed her Articles of Clerkship at a litigation boutique firm in Toronto. Sidra is a member of the Toronto Lawyers Association, the Peel Law Association, South Asian Women in the Law, and a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Sidra’s practice is built on hard work, an appreciation for detail, and the belief that solid preparation is needed to achieve the best possible outcome for clients in trying circumstances.
When not practising law, Sidra enjoys spending time with her friends, visiting her family, and volunteering as a board member to the Board of Directors at the Northwood Neighbourhood Services (NNS), a non-profit, charitable organization based in North York.
